The Open Center for Children proudly serves 29 children and their families from Somerville, Medford, Arlington, and surrounding areas. We provide an opportunity for all to come together as a supportive community!

We offer children an environment where play is their work! Ample time outdoors, inspiring classrooms, and nurturing educators are the foundation of our school. 

We proudly participate in the Somerville Partnership for Young Children, which provides family resources, screening services for children, professional development and coaching for our teachers and administration, and a variety of valuable opportunities to advance the quality of early childhood education in Somerville.
